Falling Fur Fall Outerwear

I don’t think I have ever been so ready to have the Fall weather take over the sunny skies. These past few days have been miserably hot and all that’s been on my mind is being able to get bundled up and sit by the fire. A few nights ago I did a cleaning of my closet and now all of my Fall gear is hanging towards the front anxiously waiting to be worn. Some of my personal favorites for this season are cropped fur coats that can dress any outfit up, aviator hats that, without a doubt, will keep your ears warm and lastly, chunky knit scarves that can make any casual outfit look utterly chic.

Silks & Corduroys

Corduroys have been a long time favorite even though they weren’t always in the spotlight. The slim form-fitting fit accentuates all body types in all the right ways. This style had to make its way back to the center of attention to make females all around the globe happy and comfortable once again. This Fall try pairing them with an over sized silk blouse. The two different textures make a surprisingly good match that can easily be worn from day to night.

White Power

In the fashion world there are rules that are made that society expects you to follow if you want to be considered fashionable. I happen to be one of those people who march to the beat of my own drum. If I like something I’m going to wear it, even if some will consider it a fashion faux pas. It was 90 degrees in the city yesterday so I thought it would be acceptable if I wore white (yes, even though it’s after labor day). I drew the attention away as subtle as possible by wearing a light weight green trench, some studded wedges to add a little bit of an edgy flair, and red lips in hopes that people would be distracted from my simple white dress.
