Best Dressed at the Oscars

{Mila Kunis in an Elie Saab dress}

The Oscars is the ultimate red carpet event where movie stars from all over have a fashion showdown with the hottest gowns from the top designers. I was plesantly surprised to see more gowns that I liked than disliked, and it was hard narrowing down my top picks. After a lot of thought and consideration I decided that these ladies possessed glamour, sophistication and class in all the right ways.

The Weekend Forecast

{testing out my new Chanel polish in steel}

There has been a lot of talking going around the city that we will be expecting some snow. Maybe I am a downer, or just realistic, but I highly doubt there will be white fluff piling up on the sides of the streets. As fun as it may be to have snowball fights and all, I plan to stay indoors as much as possible. School work seems to get greater as the weeks go on leaving me close to no time for relaxing or catching up on celebrity gossip. With severe weather alerts of temperatures being incredibly cold (for CA at least), I have close to no plans, which is making me giddy inside! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Spring Brights

It’s almost impossible not to notice all of the bright hues and colorful patterns that are entering all of the stores. It’s definitely a change in pace when we get in between seasons; darks, knits and layers slowly get replaced with dresses, skirts and wedges. This Spring season is all about making a statement; whether you are decked out in brights, rocking a single color or simply adding an accessory (like a shoe or bag) in a bright shade, make a comfortable transition from Winter to Spring just by updating the color palette that’s within your closet.
