One of the main reasons we decided to make a quick trip to the east coast was because I was dying to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met. Words can’t describe how spectacular it truly was you really just have to see it for yourself (if you can, I highly recommend it). I laid out my outfits for the weekend prior to leaving so I wouldn’t have to take any extra unnecessary time to get ready, especially since we were on such a tight schedule. I knew I wanted to wear this pleated white 20′s-esque dress with an over sized jacket and necklace to the exhibit for its comfort, uniqueness and versatility for when I was shopping (always thinking ahead)! New York tends to have sticky humid weather during the Summer and this flowy dress was a great option to minimize discomfort.
