Cupcakes Have My Heart

We all know I have a serious sweet tooth, and I mean serious (if you didn’t, you can get an idea through the massive collection of recipes I have here)! Anytime is an appropriate time to indulge in a treat of some sort (with the proper amount of exercise, of course) and cupcakes have always been at the top of my list. I’m sure you can imagine how thrilled I was when I came across this sequined sweater and there was absolutely no way I was going home (a second time) without it! Now I can literally have a cupcake with me at all times of the day, and even though I’m not eating it, it still brings me the same amount of happiness!

Faux-Fur Headband

My best friend always jokes that in a past lifetime I was an old ukrainian lady who only wore fur. After taking these pictures I think I have to agree with her! I can never get enough of faux fur accessories and this furry headband definitely takes the cake. I know it’s a little ridiculous and I’ve gotten my fair share of stares, but because it’s starting to get exceptionally cold in the city and in order for me to keep warm and have my hair stay in place I have to wear it. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

One of my favorite things about fashion is having the opportunity to experiment with different garments and accessories to make them fit into your wardrobe. My amazingly talented photographer friend, Iann asked me if I could style an ascot for a new green conscious brand she is involved with, Ceravelo. I of course accepted because I am always up for a challenge and it didn’t hurt that they were made in the most beautiful fabrics, ever! Typically ascots are seen on men but that doesn’t mean a gal can’t incorporate one into a get-up. I love the contrasting colors and pattern to the style I got to wear and it definitely fit right into my ensemble.
