These photos were taken in Giverny at Monet’s beautiful – and famous garden. It was one of my favorite things we did while in Paris (though we had to drive a little over an hour outside the city to get to it). There was something so serene and magical about being there – from the gorgeous flowers that were in bloom to the calming sounds that were around us, I was just about ready to pack my bags and move into his old home! I’ve been obsessed with layering blouses under jumpers lately because it can make the simplest dress that much more fun. I thought my outfit was perfect for the occasion, it had a little Monet feeling to it thanks to my favorite vintage hat!

I’m finally back to the real world after a wonderful trip to Paris! I have to admit it’s been hard to adjust after being in such a magical place, especially since this is going to be one of the most stressful weeks of my life (my boyfriend and I move to L.A. in 6 days). I have loads of pictures to share from my trip but I had to show these special ones first from a photo shoot we did before we left. My talented friend Adriana of Adriana Klas Photography snapped these whimsical photos in Woodside and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they turned out. There’s something about getting dressed up (especially with my guy) and wearing a floral crown, nothing beats it!

We are here in Paris trying to soak up everything it has to offer. It’s so hard not to indulge in this amazing city – from all the decadent treats and historical sites to the swoon worthy shops, I seriously feel like I’m in heaven! This was an obvious outfit for a day filled with a behind the scenes tour of the Eiffel Tower, a lot of walking and to see the Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs exhibit that I had been waiting to see for months (and it was so worth it)! I can’t wait to explore even more these next few days – I’m especially excited for the chocolate and pastry tour we have planned for later this afternoon (photos to come later this week)!

P.S. The internet at our hotel is painfully slow which makes it hard to update my blog. I’ll do what I can but I may have to postpone some posts until I return!
