The Little Things

It’s the little things that really make me happy. Like seeing my favorite holiday inspired candies in the aisle at the market, finding an extra pair of socks to delay me having to do laundry, perfectly frothed milk on the top of my latte and cozy sweaters with a sequin collar and polka dots – it doesn’t get much better than that! Despite the weather still being in the 80s I couldn’t wait one more second to wear my new treasure. The milky beige color will go with anything in my wardrobe and I know that once the temperature starts to drop it will be the coziest of sweaters to layer up in.

Chartreuse

The color chartreuse has quickly consumed all areas of my life. From home decor inspirations to my clothing choices, I’ve become smitten with the hue. It’s one of those in between colors that would be trendy to wear year round and surprisingly goes with a lot more than you’d expect. I’ve been spending way too much time mixing different combinations together and I just love how it has the power to transform more of a Summer color into feeling Fall ready.

Berry Blues

The weather here in L.A is still really warm – like in the 90s, so it’s been kind of hard to wear my Fall pieces. I’m not a fan of being in between season’s because I’ve already accepted the fact that Summer is over and I’m ready to move on to new things. In anticipation of the new seasons’ arrival, I’ve been making outfits with colors I expect to wear (lots of jewel tones, berry colors & blues) in pieces that are still weather appropriate. This will have to suffice until I can actually pull out my tights and scarves to layer myself up.
