Yesterday was my last day of class and with my final collection for design still on my mind (1950′s-esque) I’ve been nothing but smitten with anything that has a retro feel to it (story of my life)! I’m drained from all the work I put into my finals but with Summer fully on my mind I know I will have no issues regaining my energy. I’ve bookmarked many recent Summer inspired editorials that have caught my eye and this particular one, Kalifornia for Fashion Gone Rogue had a vintage feel that surpassed the others. I absolutely love the polaroid pictures and the casualness on this road trip journey. I have no major plans set for the Summer but am hoping to venture out on a few road trips myself. This spread gave me a much needed boost of motivation after mine seemed to vanish following finals.

I couldn’t help myself from posting these photos from Vogue Paris’ March issue. The Victoria’s secret models are absolutely stunning and always add spunk to their runway shows and shoots. This one in particular caught my eye because they are photographed in the lingerie pieces from their recent runway show, decked out in accessories from Fendi and Hermes. It was an interesting editorial to have in Paris Vogue, but on the other hand, it’s always nice to see how versatile undergarments can be.

I couldn’t be happier that it’s finally Friday; this week has been long and draining and I can’t wait to embrace my weekend of fun filled shows, parties and brunches. I came across this magical editorial that was in the October issue of Hong Kong Harper’s Bazaar and it instantly put me in a fabulous mood. The small intricate details the unbelievable haute couture (by Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Gaultier and Armani) and incredible shoes can make any girl feel giddy and magical inside.
