Golden Collective Asterisk Party
I was so excited when I was asked to be a part of the Golden Collective shopping event at Asterisk tomorrow evening. I get to sell some of my vintage alongside some of my favorite ladies: Fancy Fine, Mousevox, The Hummingbird Girls, A Fine Day For Sailing and some other fun people! If you live in the Bay Area you should come out to the Mission for some shopping, mingling, drinking and I’m sure some goofing around… you won’t want to miss out on the fun!

Anjolee
{top, skirt & sunnies: vintage bag: betsey johnson shoes: zara jewels: c/o anjolee, jennifer meyer, jcrew, charlotte russe & house of harlow}
I was extremely excited when jewelry manufacturer Anjolee got in contact with me about picking and customizing one of their special pieces. They have elegant jewelry for all people and occasions; a couple getting married can purchase a Wedding set, any gal can get a simple Anniversary band or go all out with a Diamond tennis necklace. What I especially like is that because the items are classic you can easily incorporate them into your daily wardrobe. I do have my fair share of chunky jewelry but I do love having a few dainty pieces that I can always wear that go with everything. I couldn’t be more pleased with my yellow gold band; it’s the perfect ring to wear on its own or even stacked with a few others. I love how a piece of jewelry can make you feel extra feminine, especially when it’s worn with pastels and polka dots!

ASOS Marketplace
I’m almost positive I’m not the only one completely obsessed with ASOS Marketplace. Being that I have a love for all vintage clothing I’m constantly on the hunt for new vintage shops that sell unique and one-of-a-kind pieces that are inspiring. I love that ASOS has a marketplace for small business owners to curate their shops in a way that they feel demonstrates what their brand is all about. It’s also very community oriented which I’m all for— which is obvious since I’m a blogger! It’s nice to be able to browse and take note on things other shop owners do when it comes to their business (styling, photography, pricing, etc.) and I’m sometimes able to use what I’ve learned and apply it to my shop in a way that speaks to me and the brand I’m trying to create. I’ve literally spent hours looking through a ton of the boutiques and have managed to create a full new ‘bookmark folder’ on my computer dedicated to items on my wish list… it’s a serious addiction!
