{all items from modcloth}
When I was younger I used to hate the thought of having to wear anything that had pleats; skirts were to school girl-esque, pants were unflattering and shorts created a box-like figure. Up until now I have always admired those who wore garments with pleats, but now I seem to not be able to get them out of my mind. Currently I am lusting over pastel pleated mini skirts and of course the maxi skirt, which has been in the spotlight for some time. These pieces are the perfect go to item for Spring because you can simply wear a cropped or over sized top, that balances the femininity and dressiness from the skirt with comfort and pleasure from the top.

I was checking to see if you wrote about our dinner last night or Ben’s bday. I was SO excited to hear about your new ‘gig’!!!!!!! Can hardly wait to see (is that on an earlier blog post?). I had an idea: one of the cool things about your blog is that it is so eclectic–you write about mostly fashion but also a great variety of other things. Your Departments on the blog are a great way to ‘showcase’ these–like Comfort Food, Sweet Tooth etc. Since you’ve often said how important family & friends are, that could be another department. (or maybe it just goes in Uncategorized), as I know you’ve had some great blogs where you’re commenting on some event involving one of your ardent fans
OK, I just checked out the ‘Uncategorized’. Looks like most of them really go in different categories–like Style Icons (for McQueen & Lady Gaga). I thought there was a “Diamond in the Rough’ category cuz I’ve seen you mention that a lot, but must be included in another one. Last thing: you NEVER need to apologize for taking a break. I would delete those entries
If you know you’re taking a few days off in advance, or blog will be down for tech work, just tell people in advance. But no apologies! You and your blog are so AWESOME, nobody would be anything but happy for you to occasionally take a few well-deserved days off for whatever reason! xxxx
