These photos were taken in Giverny at Monet’s beautiful – and famous garden. It was one of my favorite things we did while in Paris (though we had to drive a little over an hour outside the city to get to it). There was something so serene and magical about being there – from the gorgeous flowers that were in bloom to the calming sounds that were around us, I was just about ready to pack my bags and move into his old home! I’ve been obsessed with layering blouses under jumpers lately because it can make the simplest dress that much more fun. I thought my outfit was perfect for the occasion, it had a little Monet feeling to it thanks to my favorite vintage hat!

    I love the colour of the dress and of course your hat. It suits you so well. Fabulous first photo.
    For all the times I’ve been to France and Paris I’ve never visited Monet’s garden. Seems I need to make more of an effort on my next visit. It looks lovely.

    SO JEALOUS. I’ve been obsessed with Monet’s garden since the fifth grade. I really wanted to squeeze Paris into my European adventure last summer, but it just didn’t work out. Maybe next year!

    Love your dress ! just perfect and so delicate. Love the color orange and the lace bow at the front as well as the detailing on the sleeves. Your bag and the hat is gorgeous too. The garden is beautiful, the lake looks so peaceful, great place for a photoshoot !

    Oh, Monet was my favorite painter as a child! How lucky you got to go there.

    Loving the outfit too, btw. Not sure which part I like better- the ribbon, or the hat!

    I always wanted to go to Giverny gardens but it’s a bit away from Paris so I never did… love your photos! your dress is so cute and I love the details, the hat and the backpack complement the look :)
