Halloween Sugar Cookies

The Fall has my all time favorite months of the year. As soon as October hits the weather instantly gets more crisp, the days are shorter and fire places finally get to be used. One of the highlights of the month of October is Halloween. I still get the same joy as I did years ago decorating spooky treats, dressing up in costumes, having an excuse to eat mounds of candy and attending Halloween parties. Over the weekend I was definitely in a festive mood and thought it would be the perfect time to whip up some sugar cookies using this recipe, to fully get into the Halloween spirit. Now that my teeth feel ready to fall out from all of the sugar I have consumed, I know I am in the right spirit for the spooky holiday.
