Raisin Challah

I would not consider myself to be a religious person at all, however, I do love traditions that families make based upon the religion that they are. One of my fondest memories from preschool was making challah every Friday afternoon (when I say make I mean braiding it, waiting for it to bake and my favorite part, eating the fresh loaf). This was when my love for challah came about, and recently I’ve noticed my love turn into an obsession. After buying multiple loaves I decided that I had to give this recipe a shot otherwise I would go broke. It definitely tested my patience with all of the sitting and waiting that came along with it. I must say that even though I enjoyed making this recipe, there is something about a professionally baked one that has me smitten.
