Mad About Plaid

I don’t think I’ve had as big a crush on a print (other than polka dots) than plaid this season. I’ve always been a fan, but there have been some great pieces in stores these last few months, and it’s been hard to resist buying it all! While it is one of those classic patterns, it can be hard to wear during the warmer months. Something about it makes it feel much more fall and winter-ish. That’s why I’ve been selective with my plaid purchases, but this skirt felt particularly special. I love the shorter-in-front curved hem, it’s a modern take on a much-loved classic style. I know I’ll have this in my closet for years! (P.S. excuse my hair, it was so windy!)

I totally relate! I was a “punk” in high school and wore plaid to pieces! I love it still and I am so happy it has been so huge this winter! This skirt is so cute!

the shape and cut of that plaid skirt really makes it a more modern take on the traditional. it looks great. totally coveting your shoes, as usual. =-)

The tartan skirt is such a great piece, it can be styled in many different ways, I liked seeing it with white, its a fresh spin, especially with the cool detail on the sleeves. I am always grateful for your kind comments…Have a great week ahead!
