Tartan is one of those patterns that will always be in style. Sure, it may not always be in the spotlight, but once fall rolls around, plaid prints somehow always work. Don’t you think? I’ve always loved classic red tartan, especially in jackets and button downs, but I don’t think I’ve ever owned a plaid skirt—or in this color scheme! I like how neutral it all feels and how I know that if I tuck it away for a while, regardless of when I take it out, it’ll be in style.

I never would have thought of pairing stripes with plaid, but it actually looks great. That beautiful backpack adds even more interest to the outfit. I’m trying to find a clutch in that same shade.
