This week was a much needed one off of work. I had the time to catch up on school work, do a big cleaning around our apartment and head home for the Jewish New Year. I thought things couldn’t get any better until my adorable boyfriend surprised me with the sweetest anniversary gift of all time: a full baking corner! It was all filled with vintage treasures that really made my heart melt: jars, silverware, a clipboard for my recipes, a nob to hang my apron, a chalkboard and all! He specifically said he wanted me to ‘add my flavor’ to it and decorate it as I please… it will make cooking even more pleasurable than it already is. I’m sure this weekend I will be spending a lot of my time in the kitchen! Hope you all have a wonderful one, too!
