Sparkle During the Day

Some people feel that sequins during the day isn’t appropriate. I beg to differ. Sure, it may seem a little over the top, but there are ways to tone it down. This polka dot top is fully covered in sequins and the fact that I can wear it throughout the day and than at night is a complete sell in itself. To dress it down I wore it with a pair of vintage cutoff shorts (are you sick of them yet?!), a white collar shirt underneath, and a backpack. That same day I had plans to go out to dinner, so instead of completely changing I put on a pair of black jeans and a military jacket—it was the perfect way to transition the outfit into an evening look.

This top was a real score.

I also think because of the playfulness of the polka dots on it that it works even better as a daytime piece.

You did a great job with this, oh sequins in the day is not the easiest thing to pull off but you did it. Your outfits are always so cute. And love the booties. This is my favorited heel height.

With ripped up cut off shorts, I think the sequins look awesome! I love the casual chic vibe of this outfit. Totally something I would wear! :) <3
