You know those days where you just can’t seem to come up with what to say? I’m definitely having one of those. Maybe it’s because I had a wonderful weekend soaking up the 75 degree sun in Santa Barbara and my brain is still in relax mode. I think it’s funny how your body just gets in this zone when it knows you’re going away. My body was clearly ready to go mid-week because by Friday, most of my creative mojo had disintegrated. How do I know that? The outfits I packed were pretty simple – more so then my usual getups. Writers block: “…an author loses the ability to produce new work,” if you ask me, is very similar to when a blogger loses the ability to come up with a fresh outfit.

    Your holiday sounds amazing. That’s the down side to them; you can’t easily switch on to ordinary routines and life. But your look is so adorable, love the pussy bow and cute skirt.. Nice outfit and lovely, sunny photos !

    I definitely get ‘outfit block’ and end up standing in my closet, staring sometimes, look at 40 dreses and thinking ‘I don’t want to wear any of this right now’ I always pull through, bt I get you. I love this simple outfit – it’s got a chic school girl feel that I lov.

    totally relate to what you mean. I was in LA this weekend with my husband and family and I’m still in the land of sunshine and heat compared to where I am with the chill and work. haha. At least there’s still some sunshine before rain is supposed to hit the area.
